Due to the high demand and success of Profashional’s Dress for Success networking event, we introduced another annual networking event for the fall as well - Media Mavens. Media Mavens focuses on the media side of the fashion industry and we have had panelists from Refinery29, Mr. Porter, Cosmopolitan, The New York Post, and Vogue/Teen Vogue.
Having developed a branding for our Dress for Success event as very chic and light, I wanted to create a brand for Media Mavens that would differentiate from Dress for Success but still be consistent with the Profashionals identity. So, Media Mavens is themed more sleek and dark, having the marketing material be all black and simpler and sleek typefaces as opposed to the more playful one of the Dress for Success logo. Here I created the fliers and instagram stories announcing the event, as well as the run of show pamphlet that was handed to all guests upon arrival.
This year we collaborated with Pace’s Arts and Entertainment Industry club, the IN Network, for a look into everything that goes into creating a brand and look for a celebrity. We had a very diverse panel, from an editor at US Weekly to a celebrity stylist.
